Nobel Prize winner Jack W. Szostak speaks at cCWCS workshop

Jack W. Szostak, Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and the Alexander Rich Distinguished Investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital, spoke at the 2009 cCWCS workshop on Nucleic Acids at Georgia State University, May 23-28.


Szostak shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 2009  with Elizabeth Blackburn and Carol W. Greider for the discovery of how telomeres protect chromosomes.
